Outpatient Services provides therapy and medication management, if needed, for substance use and/or mental health issues for individuals in Goochland and Powhatan counties. We coordinate and link individuals with services both within our agency and in the community.
Treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD, OCD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, ADHD, and Substance Use Disorders utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, DBT, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, Humanistic, and Psychodynamic treatment modalities and Psychiatric medication management.
Substance use services more intensive than outpatient are accessed by referral.
Pregnant and/or parenting women using substances and individuals using opiates of any kind receive priority in accessing services.
School Based Mental Health Services:
We are now partnering with both Goochland County Public Schools and Powhatan County Public schools to offer school based mental health services. Please contact your child’s school counselor for more information.
