Goochland Powhatan Community Services (GPCS) is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals and families in Goochland and Powhatan counties. As a provider of mental health, developmental disability, and substance use services, GPCS offers compassionate care, innovative programs, and vital resources tailored to meet the needs of its residents. It is the vision of Goochland Powhatan Community Services to be recognized by the residents and greater community of Goochland and Powhatan Counties as the best provider of mental health, developmental disabilities and substance use disorder services and as a significant contributor to the overall well-being of these communities.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote and enhance the quality of life through innovative, comprehensive services to all residents and the greater community of Goochland and Powhatan Counties. We provide a continuum of community-based education, prevention, crisis intervention, counseling, and rehabilitation to individuals, families, and groups in need of mental health, intellectual disability, and/or substance use disorder services.
